Dr. Rob Krueger traveled with nine CSP math students to the MinneWiADs (http://minneanalytics.org/minnewiads2022/) conference sponsored by MinneAnalytics at the Minnesota Science Museum on October 24. The conference highlighted women who are excelling in the world of Analytics and Data Science. Presenters came from a wide range of industries including medicine (Mayo Clinic, Essentia Health, and UnitedHealthcare), business (C.H.Robinson, Nordstrom, and Stripe), and emerging technologies (Quantinuum, Tanium, and Teradata). Students were able to meet with employers including Target, General Mills, Dataiku, and Best Buy.
MinneAnalytics is a nonprofit which is building a data science and emerging technology community in Minnesota. Their goal is to sponsor engaging events for professionals across business, technology, and decision science. They sponsor a scholarship for a promising data scientist student at CSP based on our participation in the community.
